How much does a commercial painting contractor charge?

From property size to painting materials and equipment required, every project is different. This makes quoting online prone to error. No problem, we will come to you for a complimentary walk-through and provide you with an estimate. We provide estimates only after walking your property, assessing your space, and learning about your particular requirements. George and the rest of the Kaz Painting team take great pride in providing our customers with competitive prices without compromising the quality of our workmanship or the materials we use.

How do you prepare our site for a painting project?

  1. Our crew will do a great job washing down all the areas to be painted, power washing assuring a clean and sound surface. That ensures good paint adhesion.
    • Removing any grime and/or mildew is a vital part of our cleaning process.
    • Remove or neutralize chalking areas. Chalking is a fine powder formed by time and weather on a painted surface.
  2. Spalling Repair if necessary. Spalling is when parts of the concrete surface crack, break away, and fall off. Many things can cause it, but you can count on Kaz to fix it before painting.
  3. Removal and neutralization of rust. This is an important step to ensure not only good paint adhesion but to prolong the life of your surface or equipment.
  4. Caulk joints and crevasses, especially around doors, windows, and other areas that may be exposed to water or subject to water penetration.
  5. When required, we will dig a trench to seal the base of any buildings that are below dirt level.
  6. Patch stucco to match existing texture as necessary.
  7. Prime all unpainted surfaces. Paint sticks better to primer and allows for smooth and even coating.
  8. Mask windows, and cover plants, walkways, adjacent cars, and other areas to avoid paint drips or overspray.
